What Regular Walks Can Do for Your Dog
Dogs who don’t get enough exercise can develop habits that are hard to live with: chewing furniture, barking through the afternoon, pacing the house. Regular walks help release that pent-up energy in a healthy way. Beyond the physical benefits, midday walks offer something equally important: companionship. A visit from a trusted walker breaks up a long day alone and gives your dog something to look forward to.
For owners, a consistent walk schedule means you can stay at work without watching the clock and run errands without guilt. Walk frequency needs vary by age, breed, and energy level, so we tailor our approach to what your dog actually needs, not a one-size-fits-all schedule.
How Our Dog Walking Service Works
We start every new client relationship with a complimentary in-home consultation. A member of our management team visits your home to learn about your dog’s routine, behavior, preferences, and any special instructions, then uses that information to select the right walker for your dog. You’re also welcome to meet your walker at this visit.
If you’d prefer a formal introduction session, our optional Meet & Greet gives you dedicated time with your assigned walker before the first walk begins. The Meet & Greet comes with a fee to compensate your pet care professional for their time.
From there, the process is straightforward:
- Tailored Walk Schedule: Choose daily, weekly, or occasional visits based on your dog’s needs. We also accommodate same-day bookings when available.
- Consistent Care: We work to match your pet with the same walker whenever possible, so your dog can build comfort and routine with a familiar person.
- Visit Reports After Every Walk: You’ll receive a visit report through our mobile app with notes, photos, and GPS tracking so you always know how the walk went.
Daytime Dog Walks: What’s Included
Our Daytime Dog Walks come in 15, 20, or 30-minute visits, available while you’re at work. Every visit includes exercise, playtime, water bowl refreshing, waste removal, and TLC. Walk style is matched to your dog: brisk and energetic or slow and sniff-filled, depending on what your dog loves. Our walkers are background-checked, insured, and trained to handle dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments.
Holiday Schedule
The holidays don’t stop your dog’s routine, so we keep walking. A per-visit surcharge applies on the following holidays: New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. That surcharge goes 100% to the dog walker who is working over the holidays.
Why Winter Garden Dog Owners Choose Woofie's
Some booking apps may send a different walker for each booking. A rotating cast of strangers can be stressful for dogs that thrive on routine. Our model is built differently: a local team that gets to know your dog before the first walk, then shows up consistently.
We don’t believe in cookie-cutter approaches. Some dogs need a fast-paced outing to burn energy; others need a slow, exploratory stroll through the neighborhood. We match the walk to the dog, not the other way around. And because we come to you, there’s no drop-off, no pickup, and no added errand on your calendar.
Woofie's also offers pet sitting and mobile grooming, so Winter Garden families can count on one trusted provider for all their pet care needs.
Dog Walking Pricing in the Winter Garden Area
Pricing depends on the frequency of walks, the size of the dog, and the number of pets walking. Additional fees may apply for households with multiple dogs or extra-large dogs. All prices are subject to change at our discretion. Contact your local Woofie's to inquire about current pricing for your household.
Schedule Your Complimentary Consultation Today
The complimentary in-home consultation is the first step for every new dog walking client we take on. It’s how we learn about your dog’s needs, your home environment, and any specific instructions before a single walk begins. If you’d like your assigned walker present at the consultation, walker attendance comes with a fee to compensate the pet care professional for their time.
