Dog Walking in Mendham

Personalized Walks Built Around Your Dog

Choose the visit duration and pace that fit your dog, from a quick 20-minute outing to a full hour of exercise and attention. Woofie's® of Morristown provides dog walking services in Mendham, New Jersey, with care shaped around each dog’s age, breed, and energy level.

Our trained local team gets to know your family pet rather than following a cookie-cutter approach. That could mean keeping an active dog moving at a brisk pace or giving an older dog time for a slower, sniff-filled stroll. Our 5.0 average customer rating on Google reflects the care families have experienced with us.

Dog Walking Visit Lengths & Included Care

Dog walking visits are available in four lengths, so you can choose an option based on your dog’s needs. A shorter walk may suit a quick break, while a longer visit provides more time for exercise, playtime, and attentive care.

Available visit durations include:

• 20 minutes: $27.00
• 30 minutes: $33.00
• 45 minutes: $49.00
• 1 hour: $63.00

Every visit includes exercise, playtime, fresh water, waste removal, and TLC, regardless of the selected duration. Fifteen-minute visits aren’t available at all locations, so pet owners interested in that length should contact us to ask about availability.

Walks Tailored to Your Dog’s Age, Breed & Pace

A dog’s ideal outing depends on more than the number of minutes outside. We consider age, activity, breed-specific needs, and preferred pace to determine whether your dog would enjoy steady movement, extra time to explore, or a gentler outing.

Our local team is trained and understands that different breeds can have different needs. A Woofie’s professional dog walker can follow the tailored walk schedule established for your pet while providing attentive, family-pet-centered care. The Woofie’s app also includes GPS route tracking, which shows the path taken during the walk.

Mendham Dog Walking Service Pricing & Fees

The selected visit duration determines the base charge. The timing of the walk and the number of pets receiving care may add to that rate.

Additional charges that may apply include:

• Early or late visits: A $10.00 surcharge applies to visits scheduled before 7 a.m. or after 9 p.m.
• Last-minute bookings: A $10.00 fee applies when a visit is booked with less than 24 hours’ notice.
• Additional pets: A $5.00 surcharge applies to each additional pet when more than two pets receive a visit.

When contacting us, share your preferred visit length, the number of pets, and the requested timing so we can clarify the applicable rates and fees.

Planning Your Dog’s First Walk

The first arrangement covers the practical details needed for your dog’s care, including home access instructions, walking preferences, household information, and the location of walking supplies.

A dog walking meet-and-greet costs $27.00. During the planning process, tell us about your dog’s age, activity level, usual walking pace, and breed-related needs. You’ll also select a visit length based on the amount of daytime support requested.

Once walks begin, you can use the Woofie’s app to view the route taken while your dog receives the care included with the visit.

Leash Requirements in Mendham Borough & Township

Local leash requirements depend on whether a walk takes place in Mendham Borough or Mendham Township. These are municipal requirements rather than policies created by our dog walking company.

Mendham Borough
Mendham Borough prohibits owners from allowing a dog to run at large at any time. Pet owners should make sure the leash, collar, or harness provided for a walk is secure and appropriate for their dog.

Mendham Township
In Mendham Township, dogs away from their owner’s premises must be restrained by a leash or otherwise kept under the strict control of a responsible person. The Township also prohibits unleashed dogs in public playgrounds, schoolyards, and recreation areas.

During the initial arrangement, let us know about your preferred walking setup and any relevant handling instructions. Clear information about your dog’s equipment and walking preferences helps us provide the requested care.
