Dog Walking Built Around Your Dog, Not a Template
No two dogs are alike, and a walk that energizes one dog might overwhelm another. Our team tailors each visit to your dog’s pace and preferences, whether that means a brisk outing to burn off energy or a slow, sniff-filled stroll through the neighborhood. A cookie-cutter program doesn’t do justice to a dog you love.
Because we come to you, there’s no drop-off, no pickup, and no rushing across town to meet a daycare window. Your dog stays in familiar surroundings, and the care comes to them.
How Dog Walking Service Starts
Every new dog walking relationship at Woofie’s® of Davenport-Kissimmee begins with a complimentary In-Home Consultation. We use that visit to learn your dog’s daily routine, behavior, preferences, and any special instructions, and to identify the right walker pairing for your household. There’s no obligation, and it sets the foundation for walks your dog can enjoy.
If you’d like to meet your assigned walker before the first walk, you can schedule a Meet & Greet at your home. This visit carries a fee that goes directly to compensating the walker for their time. From there, our Tailored Walk Schedule gives you flexibility: daily, weekly, or occasional visits, with same-day bookings available when scheduling allows.
Trusted, Experienced Dog Walkers
Every walker on our team is background-checked, insured, and experienced handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. We work to match your dog with the same walker for every visit, so Consistent Care isn’t just a phrase. A familiar face can mean a calmer dog, a smoother routine, and a walker who notices when something’s off.
After every walk, you receive Digital Updates through the Woofie’s mobile app: notes on how the visit went, photos of your dog, and GPS tracking of the route. You’ll always know where your dog went and how they did.
What’s Included in a Daytime Dog Walk
Our Daytime Dog Walks are designed for owners who are out of the house during the day. Visits are available in 15-, 20-, or 30-minute increments and include exercise, playtime, water bowl refreshing, waste removal, and attentive one-on-one care.
We also observe a Holiday Schedule throughout the year. A per-visit surcharge applies on major holidays, including New Year’s Eve and Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday, and Christmas Eve and Day. The full surcharge goes to the walker who shows up for your dog on that holiday.
Dog Walking Pricing in Hunter’s Creek
Walk pricing depends on how often visits are scheduled, your dog’s size, and the number of pets being walked. Households with multiple dogs or extra-large dogs may have additional fees. Prices are subject to change, so we recommend contacting your local Woofie’s® of Davenport-Kissimmee directly for a current quote specific to your situation.
A Natural Fit for Hunter’s Creek Neighborhoods
Hunter’s Creek is a 6.5-square-mile master-planned community made up of 35 single-family neighborhoods, along with apartment, condominium, and townhome communities in Orange County, Florida. Its neighborhoods are connected by a continuous network of paved sidewalks, which makes in-home dog walking visits a natural fit. Our walkers come to your address, leash up your dog, and head out on familiar routes close to home.
How Often Does Your Dog Need a Walk?
Walking frequency depends on your dog’s age, breed energy level, and your daily schedule. Here’s a general guide:
- Puppies (8 weeks to 1 year): About 5 minutes of walking per month of age, once or twice a day, gradually increasing as your puppy grows
- Adult dogs (1 to 7 years): 30 to 60 minutes at least once or twice daily
- Senior dogs (7+ years): Around 30 minutes daily, often split into shorter sessions
- High-energy breeds (Border Collies, Labs, Huskies): 60 to 90 minutes a day across 2 to 3 walks
- Moderate and low-energy breeds: 30 to 60 minutes daily
Owners who work from home often do well with mid-morning and evening walks. If you’re out of the house from 9 to 5, a midday Daytime Dog Walk can make a real difference in your dog’s day.
Signs your dog may need more frequent walks include restlessness or pacing, excessive barking or whining, chewing and other destructive behavior, and recent unexplained weight gain. If any of these sound familiar, an added midday visit can be a simple adjustment.
