Pet Sitters & Dog Walkers

This role is a great fit for college students, stay-at-home parents, freelancers, active retirees, or anyone with flexible availability. Choose the types of services that work best for your schedule:
- Morning, evening, and weekend dog walks
- Weekday and travel-related drop-in visits
- 12-hour overnight pet sitting from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
- Extended in-home pet sitting in a client’s home
- 24-hour Bed & Biscuit care in your own home
- Care for cats and other small household pets
Applicants should be reliable, communicative, comfortable working independently, and genuinely passionate about animals. You should also have reliable transportation and a smart phone.
Mobile Pet Groomer
Woofie’s of South Tampa is seeking an experienced, dependable Mobile Pet Groomer to join our growing team. Our groomers provide personalized, one-on-one services in fully equipped, climate-controlled mobile grooming vans.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional bathing, brushing, clipping, scissoring, dematting, nail care, and ear cleaning
- Consult with pet parents and document grooming notes
- Safely handle pets of different breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments
- Deliver excellent customer service and communicate any concerns
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain grooming equipment and the mobile spa
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance or supply needs
- Follow all Woofie’s safety, sanitation, and emergency procedures
Qualifications
- At least two years of professional grooming experience
- Valid Florida driver’s license and safe driving record
- Strong customer service, communication, and time-management skills
- Comfortable working independently and using mobile scheduling applications
- Ability to lift and safely handle pets weighing up to 50 pounds, with occasional assistance for larger pets
Pet CPR and First Aid certification must be obtained within six months of employment; training is provided.
