Choose the Right Visit Duration

Visits range from 15 minutes to 1 hour, with options for quick potty breaks, longer walks, play, and engagement. We also offer mid-day walks for dogs that need attention during the daytime.

The right duration may depend on your dog’s age, energy level, mobility, temperament, and routine. We can provide a brisk walk for a dog that needs to exert energy or a slower, sniff-filled stroll for a dog that prefers to explore at an easier pace.

Every dog walking visit includes:

Exercise suited to the planned visit length
Playtime and attentive TLC
Fresh water
Waste removal

We can also care for multiple dogs and extra-large dogs. Before regular visits begin, we’ll gather information about every dog receiving care.

Starting Your Wake Forest Dog Walking Service

Every new dog walking relationship begins with a complimentary in-home consultation. We use this time to discuss your pet’s routine, behavior, preferences, home surroundings, and care instructions. You can also explain leash behavior, comfort level, and any household details our pet care professionals need to know.

Optional Meet & Greet
You may request a meet & greet with your dog walker before the first scheduled walk. Walker attendance at this introductory visit carries a fee. It gives your dog and walker time to become acquainted before ongoing visits start.

Flexible Scheduling
We can create a tailored walk schedule with daily, weekly, or occasional visits. Same-day bookings may also be available, allowing care to fit around work, appointments, errands, and changing commitments.

GPS Route Visibility
The Woofie’s mobile app includes GPS tracking, allowing you to see the route taken during a dog walk.

Background Checks
Every Woofie's® of Northwest Raleigh-Cary pet care professional undergoes a background check upon hiring.

Leash Rules in Wake Forest Public Spaces

Section 91.07 of the applicable local animal code prohibits owners from allowing animals to run at large. Dogs in public parks must remain restrained on a leash unless they’re inside an area officially designated as a dog park. These requirements apply whenever a walk includes shared public space.

Wake Forest includes paved public trails that welcome leashed dogs as well as a fenced, designated dog park. Inside the designated enclosure, public-park leash requirements don’t apply, but dogs must be leashed while entering and leaving. This information provides local safety context and doesn’t indicate that our walkers use a particular park or trail.
