Dog Walking in Olney, MD
Personalized In-Home Dog Walking for Olney Pet Owners
Woofie’s® of Bethesda’s Olney dog walking service is built around your dog’s needs rather than a fixed routine that works for every pet on the schedule. We bring the service to your door, so your dog gets one-on-one attention in the neighborhood they know, and you get peace of mind.
Our local team is made up of passionate pet professionals who take time to learn each dog’s quirks, preferences, and energy level before the first walk ever begins. That’s the foundation of personalized care, and it’s what sets us apart from one-size-fits-all walking services.
Ready to get started? Call us at (240) 201-4758 or reach out through our contact form to schedule your complimentary in-home consultation.
How Our Olney Dog Walking Service Works
Before we match a walker to your dog, we start with a complimentary in-home consultation. We visit your home, meet your dog, and learn their daily routine, behavior tendencies, any special handling instructions, and what they love most about a walk. That information shapes everything that follows.
From there, we match your dog with the right walker and keep that relationship consistent. Our Consistent Care approach means your dog sees a familiar face on visits, helping build trust and routine.
What you’ll receive after every walk:
- Visit report on the Woofie’s mobile app with notes, photos, and GPS tracking of the route your walker took
- Background-checked, insured walkers experienced with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments
- Consistent Care matching so your dog builds a bond with their regular walker
What Happens During the Walk
Each visit includes exercise, playtime, water bowl refreshing, and waste removal. Our walkers use secure, client-approved leashes and harnesses on every outing and won’t swap in equipment your dog isn’t comfortable with.
Pace is based on your dog’s preferences. A high-energy retriever who needs a brisk outing gets that. An older hound who wants a slow, sniff-filled stroll through the neighborhood gets that instead. We follow the dog, not the clock.
Leash Rules in Olney & Montgomery County
Montgomery County requires dogs off their owner’s property to be leashed at all times, with exceptions for service dogs, M-NCPPC-designated off-leash areas, and dogs taking part in an approved activity. Violations can carry fines. Our walkers follow county leash and waste-removal regulations on every walk.
If your family visits the fenced dog park at Olney Manor Recreational Park, you’ll know that even there, dogs must be leashed when entering and exiting. The park offers separate areas for large and small dogs. Our walkers know the local environment and bring that same responsible approach to every outing, whether they’re in your neighborhood or near a public park.
