Woofie’s of Reston-Herndon is excited to join the community for the 2026 Vienna Halloween Parade on Wednesday, October 28, 2026! This beloved Northern Virginia tradition brings families, local businesses, schools, performers, and community organizations together for an evening of Halloween fun, festive costumes, and hometown spirit.
As a local provider of professional pet care services, Woofie’s of Reston-Herndon is proud to participate in community events that bring neighbors together. We’re looking forward to marching alongside fellow local organizations and celebrating one of Vienna’s most anticipated fall traditions.
Celebrating 80 Years of Halloween Tradition
The Vienna Halloween Parade has been a community favorite since 1946, making 2026 its 80th anniversary. Each year, Maple Avenue transforms into a lively parade route filled with colorful floats, marching bands, dancers, antique cars, costumed children, and local businesses.
Thousands of spectators from Vienna and surrounding Northern Virginia communities gather to enjoy the festivities. The parade is free and open to the public, making it a fun fall outing for families throughout the area.
This year’s theme, “Haunted History: 250 Years of America,” celebrates the nation's 250th anniversary while honoring the parade's own remarkable milestone.
