Owned by Tristen and Thomas Sodhi, Woofie’s® of Cypress brings love, care, and professional pet services directly to the homes of local families. From personalized dog walking to in-home pet sitting and mobile grooming, our team is committed to making every dog feel safe, happy, and loved.

Our Owners: Local Dog Lovers & Community Advocates

Tristen and Thomas share their home with their two children and their beloved dogs, Bear and Malaki. Bear, an Irish Terrier, was their first “pup‑baby,” joining the family shortly after they were married in March 2020. Raised while both Tristen and Thomas worked from home, Bear quickly became an integral part of their daily life. As their family grew—welcoming children, returning to the office full‑time, and adding Malaki, a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever mix—the need for dependable pet care became clear.

They experienced firsthand how challenging it can be to balance work, parenting, and ensuring pets receive the attention they deserve. Having peace of mind knowing your fur-baby is checked on during the workday, taken for a walk on busy evenings and groomed by a trusted pet expert would make all the difference—yet it was a full service they found lacking in the Cypress area.

With a deep belief that dogs are family, Tristen and Thomas are passionate about providing the same level of care, trust, and compassion they expect for their own pets. Their goal is to be a trusted pet care provider for the Cypress community, helping families feel confident that their pets are loved, safe, and well cared for—even on life’s busiest days.

Thomas Sodhi: Co-Owner & Community Partner

Thomas began his career as a scientist in the oil and gas industry and has spent the past eight years excelling in chemical sales. He has a talent for building strong, lasting relationships with clients, a skill he brings to Woofie’s® of Cypress by connecting with pet parents across the region.

When he’s not working, he enjoys golfing, cooking, hunting, working out, and spending quality time with his children. He also serves the Cypress community through his work with the MUD #396.

Tristen Sodhi: Co-Owner & Pet Care Expert

Tristen’s background as an analytical chemist and her experience in supply chain management help her run the day-to-day operations of Woofie’s® of Cypress efficiently and adaptively.

She focuses on building strong connections with families and delivering consistent, compassionate care for every pet. During her spare time, she enjoys running outdoors, baking, and spending time their children and dogs.

Together, Tristen and Thomas share a love for pets and people, creating a franchise that prioritizes safety, trust, and personalized service for every dog they meet.
