Meet the Owners Behind the Care
Maria and her family share a vision of building a business that goes beyond day-to-day services. They are focused on creating something meaningful within the community, where relationships matter and pets are treated like family.
Maria brings a long career in public school teaching, where dedication to students and parents, personalized one-on-one support, and clear, consistent communication are essential. She carries these same principles into Woofie’s® of Union-Warren, ensuring a reliable and thoughtful experience for every client.
For Maria, this business is also personal. As a family-oriented individual, she saw an opportunity to build something that could involve her children and grow alongside the community. She is eager to show her middle-school-aged daughter that with determination, she can achieve anything she sets her mind to. Together, Maria and her daughter rescued an Eskimo Husky mix, Achilles and have partnered with a shelter to foster dogs, which are daily reminders of the importance of trust, patience, and compassionate care.
A Pet Care Approach Shaped by Real Experience
Maria combines a professional structure with genuine care for animals.
Her approach focuses on:
- Building long-term relationships with local pet families
- Delivering consistent, reliable service with clear communication
- Creating low-stress experiences for pets in familiar environments
- Adapting care to match each pet’s personality and routine
This balance allows Woofie’s® of Union-Warren to provide services that feel both professional and personal at the same time.
Rooted in the Local Community
The surrounding area offers a strong sense of community where pets are truly part of the family. With busy professionals, commuters, and growing households, there is a clear need for convenient, in-home pet care that fits into daily life.
Maria and her family are proud to be part of that environment and actively contribute beyond their business.
Their involvement includes:
- Volunteering within the local library system
- Serving as an Auxiliary Police Officer
- Supporting nonprofit organizations and charitable efforts
- Participating in foster care for dogs
These efforts reflect a broader commitment to making a positive impact, not just for pets, but for the community as a whole.
More Than a Service, A Long-Term Commitment
At Woofie’s® of Union-Warren, the goal is not just to provide pet care, but to become a trusted part of each client’s routine. Every walk, visit, or grooming appointment is an opportunity to build that trust and create a positive experience for both pets and their owners.
By focusing on reliability, communication, and genuine care, the team aims to create lasting relationships that extend well beyond a single service.
