Matt's decision to become a Woofie's franchise owner was fueled by two key factors: a lifelong love for animals and the impressive growth of the pet services industry. With a desire to combine his passion with his profession, Matt saw an opportunity to create a place where pets are pampered and loved, just like they deserve.

Before venturing into the world of pet care, Matt honed his skills in customer service and business management through significant roles at Gamestop, RadioShack, and the Winery/Distillery industry. This diverse experience has equipped him with unique skills to ensure success in this franchise venture, emphasizing customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and a deep understanding of service-oriented business.

Matt’s life is rich with extended family connections, including five nieces and nephews: Zachary, Melody, Kai, Alexandria, and Jonathan. His home is shared with two beloved fur babies, Dudley the Corgi and Noodle the cat, who fill his days with joy and laughter. Not one to stay indoors, you can often find him taking Dudley for playful walks on Pismo Beach or exploring the stunning landscapes of Yosemite, Sequoia, and Kings Canyon National Parks.

Matt's roots run deep after having lived in the Fresno community all his life.
