Meet Your Pack Leaders: Tim and Rachel Stephens

Meet Tim and Rachel Stephens, owners of Woofie’s® of Evans-Augusta. This duo decided to transform their shared love for animals into a mission to provide exceptional pet care in our community.  Together, they bring a unique blend of professional experience, education, and personal passions that drive their commitment to building a trusted, high-quality pet services business.

 Tim has always been fascinated with technology and problem-solving. He enjoys building computers, working with networking, and relaxing with video games - though a good cruise vacation is welcome, too. After serving 20 years in the U.S. Army, first in Signals Intelligence and later in Cybersecurity, Tim transitioned to leadership roles in the civilian sector. Today, he is the Director of IT/InfoSec for ENDICTUS, based in Tampa, FL. With degrees in Intelligence Studies, Management Information Systems, and Cybersecurity, Tim brings oversight, leadership, and a focus on operational excellence to our business. 

 Rachel has spent more than 15 years working in early childhood education, both as an in-home daycare owner and in daycare centers alongside other professionals. Her true passion, however, has always been working with animals. She is currently pursuing her degree in Veterinary Technology, combining her love for learning with her lifelong dedication to caring for pets. Rachel enjoys traveling, shopping, and soaking up the warm outdoors, and she brings an empathetic, hands-on approach to the daily operations of our pet care business.

Their love for animals, combined with Rachel’s veterinary studies and Tim’s operational expertise, makes the pet services industry a natural fit. Tim and Rachel understand first-hand how important pets are to families, and they’re committed to providing trusted, reliable, and compassionate care. Through their business, they aim to create meaningful connections in the community while offering the kind of high-quality services they’d want for their own pets.

Together, Tim and Rachel hold specialized certifications, including Paragon Groom Tech and Canine Safety, demonstrating their commitment to professional excellence in pet care services.

Family Values Are the Heart of Our Pet Care Services

Tim and Rachel’s family means everything to them. They have two kids: Faith, who is studying Marine Biology at the University of Washington, and Aiden, a high school senior. Like their parents, they share a love for animals, travel, and new adventures. Their household features Thor, a majestic Husky; Oreo, their charming Tuxedo Cat; and Kiwi, their delightful Double Yellow-headed Amazon Parrot. This diverse pet family provides daily insight into the varying needs and personalities of different animal companions.

Family is important to Tim and Rachel, and this family-oriented mindset extends to how we treat every pet that comes into our care—with love, respect, and individual attention.
