Woofie’s Service Overview
Woofie's is a professional dog walking and pet sitting service located in Ashburn, Virginia. At woofie's, we know that your pet is a very important member of your family. Our services are designed to keep your pet happy, healthy and safe at all times while in our care.

Owned and operated by business professionals, the woofie's team is staffed with professional and responsible people who are true animal lovers. We are honored that our clients trust us not only with their homes but with the care of their pets. We take this responsibility very seriously. We are a boutique firm and we only hire people that we know personally or people that were referred to us by a trusted friend/client/neighbor. We are fully committed to providing the best possible service at all times and treating all pets in our care as if they were our own.

Below is a list of our current services:

Consultation
Woofie's wants to build a lasting relationship with you and your pets. Before we accept any new clients, we require an in-home consultation to learn more about the needs of you and your pet in your home surroundings. You will have an opportunity to meet the sitter who will be caring for your pet and we will answer any questions you may have about woofie's and our business policies. Consultation: FREE.

Mid-Day Dog Walks
If you're like us, you wish you could have your dog with you at all times. Unfortunately, most of us don't have that luxury. But that doesn't mean your best buddy needs to sit home alone and bored while you're at work!

Woofie's offers 15 minute visits between the hours of 10:00am – 3:00pm. Visits include exercise, playtime, water bowl refreshing, waste removal and TLC. We keep a log of the times your woofie's dog walker enters and leaves your home and we have several local veterinarians on call in the event of illness or emergency. 15 Minute Mid-Day Walks: $13.00. Additional fees may apply for households with multiple dogs or extra-large dogs.

Pet Sitting
With woofie's Pet Sitting Service, your pet will receive 3-4 visits per day of exercise, playtime and individual attention in the comfort of your own home. Woofie's offers 15 and 30 minute visits. Visits include walks, indoor playtime, lots of TLC, feeding, water bowl refreshing, coat brushing and waste removal.
After each visit you will receive a woofie's report card so your pet can tell you all about the visit. We closely track the times your woofie's pet sitter enters and leaves your home and we have several local veterinarians on call in the event of illness or emergency.

We can also bring in the mail, water plants or provide crime-deterrent measures including opening the blinds for a lived-in look or simply rotating the lights in the evening.

• 15 Minute Visits: $15.00;
• 30 Minute Visits: $18.00.

In Home Overnight Care
Don't want your pets to stay home alone at night while you're away? Woofie's offers in-home overnight care for 12 hours. It includes an early evening feed/walk, overnight stay and morning feed/walk. This is an excellent option for all dogs but especially for older dogs and puppies that require additional bathroom breaks throughout the evening.
In Home Overnight Care: $70 per 12 hours (does not include fee for mid-day visit). Additional fees may apply for households with multiple dogs or extra-large dogs.

Bed & Biscuit Overnight Care
Woofie's also offers 24 hour boarding service at a sitter's home. Instead of staying at a traditional boarding facility, your pet will receive individual attention in the comfort of your sitter's home. Pet Taxi service is available for pick-up and drop off. Any visits on the last day lasting longer than 24 hours will be prorated. B&B Overnight Care: $65 per 24 hour care. $15 pick up fee and $15 drop off fee. Additional fees may apply for households with multiple dogs or extra-large dogs.

Extended Playtime
Woofie’s offers extended playtime for those dogs that need several hours of exercise/playtime during the day. Your dog will come home very happy and very tired!
Extended Playtime: $30.00 for the 1st hour; $20 each additional hour. Minimum 3 hours.

Time-Consuming Accident Cleaning
There are times when a pet in our care may have an accident inside the house that is very time-consuming for the walker to clean up. Since cleaning up large accidents require a walker to stay at your home past the contracted time, we need to compensate the walker for his or her time. Woofie’s will charge an amount based on the additional time the walker stays at your home. The amount will be prorated and based on your contracted rate per visit.

Pet Taxi / Errand Service
Woofie's offers a pet taxi service in the local Ashburn/Lansdowne area for those times you need assistance getting your pet to the groomer, vet or boarding/day care facility. We can also pick up your pet's food, medication or other supplies in the local area.

Pet Taxi Service:

• $30 for the first 30 minutes;
• $20 charge for each additional half hour.
• Additional fees may apply for multiple dogs or extra-large dogs.

In Home Grooming Service
Woofie’s is pleased to offer In-Home Grooming Services such as pet baths and nail trims. Now you can come home to a fresh, clean smelling pet!

• Pet Baths: $20.00 - $45.00 (based on weight and breed)
• Nail Trims: $15.00

strong>Flea/Tick and Heartworm Application
The safety and well-being of your pet are of utmost importance to us. Woofie's can apply your pet's Flea/Tick and Heartworm medication on a monthly basis for $5.00. You can supply the medication or we can provide it for you. Please contact woofie’s if you would like us to provide the medication for you.

New Reservations or Changes to Existing Reservations With Less Than 24 Hour Notice
Any changes or requests for additional mid-day visits after 9:00am of that same day will incur a $5.00 surcharge. There is a $10.00 surcharge for any reservation made with less than 24 hours notice as it requires the sitter to adjust his/her schedule. New clients requesting service with less than 48 hours notice will be charged $20 as the sitter will need to set up and attend a consultation on short notice.

Emergency ASAP Service
We understand that our clients may need emergency visits from time to time. While we are not a 24 hour, on-call service, we will make every effort to accommodate our clients at the last minute. We charge a $25 surcharge per visit as we need to compensate our walkers for their immediate availability. Please note this service is based on the availability of our walkers.

Key Pick-Up/Drop-Off Service
We ask that you provide woofie’s with 2 keys to your house at the time of your consultation. If you are not able to provide woofie’s with a key, there will be a $15 fee for Woofie’s to pick up or drop off a key/garage door opener. We secure the keys/garage openers in our office safe at all times.

Key Retrieval Service
If a client is locked out of his home and contacts woofie’s to retrieve their key, we will charge a $25 fee during normal business hours. After business hours, woofie’s will charge a $45 fee. Please note this service is based on availability of the walker only; it is not guaranteed.

Cancellation Policy for Monday-Friday Mid-day Visits
Mid-day clients who need to add, cancel or change the time of their visit must call or email their request to the Woofie’s office by 9:00am of that same day. This allows us enough time to notify the walker so they may adjust their schedule. It also enables us to set them up with an alternate client if they have a cancellation. Any clients canceling their mid-day visit after 9:00am will be charged their normal visit rate.  Please note that if you submit your request via email and do not receive a reply from woofie’s within the hour, we ask that you follow up with a phone call so we can ensure that your request was received.

Cancellation Policy for Evening & Weekend Visits
Clients who need to add, cancel or change the time of any evening or weekend visit must provide Woofie’s with 24 hour notice via email or by calling our main line at 571.426.6503. This allows us enough time to notify the walker so they may adjust their schedule. Any clients canceling their visit with less than 24 hour notice will be charged their normal visit rate.  Pet sitting clients must provide 1 week notice of cancellation if their visits fall over a major holiday or they will be charged a $20.00 fee. Please note that if you submit your request via email and do not receive a reply from woofie’s within the same day, we ask that you follow up with a phone call so we can ensure that your request was received.

Inclement Weather Policy
For the safety of our walkers, Woofie’s will follow the Federal Government closing policy during inclement weather. If the schools and government are closed, we feel that driving conditions are too dangerous for our walkers to brave the roads. We request that our clients contact Woofie’s to cancel or check availability by 9:00am. If possible, please make appropriate arrangements in advance to enlist the help of a neighbor during severe weather. Clients requesting service on severe/inclement snow days will be charged an additional $10 per visit. The surcharge will go directly to the sitter who is going out in dangerous conditions.

Holiday Service
There is a $5 holiday surcharge per visit (not to exceed $30 total) for any visits that fall during major holidays. This surcharge goes 100% to the sitter who is working over the holidays.

Per Visit Surcharges are assessed on the following dates in 2009:
Easter – April 11-12
Memorial Day – May 22-25
4th of July – July 3-5
Labor Day – September 4-7
Thanksgiving – November 25-29
Christmas – December 24-27
New Year’s – December 31–January 1
Prices are subject to change at Woofie’s discretion.
